🌿  ACT & Depression

Depression is often experienced as persistent sadness and/or a loss of interest or pleasure in activities that were once meaningful or enjoyable. It may also involve significant fatigue, sleep or appetite disturbances, feelings of guilt, and sometimes thoughts of death.

These experiences can be deeply distressing and may create a sense of being stuck, with little energy or sense of direction.

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) offers support in helping you move forward even when these difficulties are present. It aims to help you gradually regain momentum, reconnect with actions that feel meaningful, and develop more distance from painful or self-critical thoughts.
