🌿 ACT & Grief
Grief is a natural and complex response to loss. It affects the whole human experience: emotional, psychological, physical, and sometimes spiritual.
This process gradually allows the reality of the loss to be integrated over time.
Many emotions may arise and coexist, including sadness, anger, guilt, and sometimes relief. All of these reactions are normal. It is also common to experience waves of intense emotions.
Grief can also involve withdrawal, a slowing down, or significant fatigue. In most cases, these reactions evolve over time, even though they can feel very painful.
In some situations, grief becomes more difficult when emotions remain overwhelming or when daily life becomes persistently restricted.
ACT therapy can then offer a supportive space to go through these experiences, make room for them, and continue moving forward at your own pace, while staying connected to what matters most to you.
